"Memory"

The theme this week is "Memory" by Kathy.  Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that. Sorry I'm late this week.

The  memory from a trip to Venice back in 2009 came to mind. It was the start of a trip across the Alps. We headed in to the straight between through Venice headed to the island of Lido. The lighting was perfection on the buildings and every photo came out special. So I stayed on the deck of the ferry and kept shooting. Here are some gondolas in front of beautiful architecture.
