The new Sky Watch Friday is doing really well. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were 333 people last week with beautiful Sky photos. We had Mr. Linky problems again so some couldn't sign in. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.
These winter skies just keep coming. The Sun is working hard to shine.
It does make for some interesting views.
Here is another day with a red sky sunrise. We had snow that night.
Go and visit some great skies throughout the world. I will be traveling until the weekend so if I don't visit that is the reason.

Boy those really overcast, wintry days when the sun just cannot seem to penetrate. I remember them well! Hope everyone in the frozen north drives carefully and stays warm!

What gorgeous shots!! It's hard sometimes to make winter look gorgeous, but you've succeeded! I'm still unable to see Mr. Linky and I've tried a lot of things, but I will still post sky photos because it's fun and hopefully a few of you will find your way over to

Folk lore regarding the weather is not a bad thing to have in mind.Lovely pictures, thank you for sharing.
Gorgeous and strong photos!
These are great pictures. Looks very cold though. That last picture looks like fire in the background. =) Hope you have a great week.
The sky gives away how cold it is... brr.. Beautiful wintery scenes you've captured.
You've had much prettier skies there than we have and some sun as well.
Nice shots FG!

I like the colors in the horizon in the last shot.

Amazing shots FG
Great pictures. The sun came out here for about five minutes yesterday... I guess a little more snow is coming tonight, a dusting to an inch.
Snow snow, I am ready for SPRING!!
Very beautiful photo for SWF. Have a nice weekend and keep warm.
Love the sunrise in your last image!
January grey skies are the bleakest time of year.
Very wintery photos, Fishing Guy. You caught a great sky in that last one. "Evening gray and morning red, keep the traveler in his bed."
Nice sky series as always. Blue Skies.
These overcast skies remind me of the ones here. (I need to remember that I can sign in from your site, b/c I wondered where mr. linky went)
Especially liked 3rd one down. Enjoy your trip!
That red sunrise, just visible through the silhouetted trees, is quite magical.
Love the winter skies, Tom. I especially love the sunrise one.
Thanks,
Betsy

Lovely winter sky photos, you took some great shots.
Great shots Tom. I hope your injuries are healing well and you are still enjoying your trip. It will be good to have you back. :)
Great winter light in these pictures, Fishing Guy.
The last view with that shade of red is splendid.
The last pic is my pick, like a fire in under those leave less trees.
Some of the ones I have seen lately I also want to disappear!
nice! nice! nice! :)
I know you're part of the skywatch team. i just want to ask something. well, I recently added google adsense on my blog and I still want to be part of the skywatch. Can I still be permitted to join? thanks!
Those pictures are beautiful but they make me shiver! It's not so cold here!
The last shot was my favorite!
I like the hint of color at the end. I'm getting tired of winter skies!
Beautiful captures,love the last photo.
Beautiful shots; however doesn't look like I'd want to be fishing in this weather.
Oh that red peeking out is so beautiful!
Great series! I think the first one is my favorite but I love the unexpected line of color in the last one.
That cloud formation is just something out of this worls Fishing Guy.
These are great shots again, Fishing Guy. Specialy the first and the last are very beautiful.
It's better to see your clouds then the grey moist we've had for some weeks. But since yesterday the sun is back.
Have a good weekend.
like the last photo with the red/rose line peeking through the trees...lovely.
have a good weekend.

Looks coooold! Very nice shots. WIth the music it really gave me a country feeling.
lovely pictures. my favorite is the first and third one.
Such foreboding skies-guess they are appropriate for winter. The second to the last is my favorite.
Hi Fishing
Wonderful skies!
Marvelous landscaps, the last is the most beautiful!

The challenge of gray skies in photography, met very well here. Of course the last one with the red stripe is the thriller for me. Nice!
I loved all of them! You can easily make some postcards out of them :)
beautiful!!
Have a great weekend!
My blog
Those shots look mighty cold. I do wish it would warm up here too. MB
So it goes: Red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning. But it is a lovely shot. It's always nice to see some colour after many grey days.
My favourite is the second last - with all the clouds! It looks so tumultuous!!
Thanks for sharing!
