Today's Flowers # 25

My friends Luiz, Denise and Pupo run the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 7 GMT is the post time.

One of my favorite symbiotic relationships are flower and bees. The flower is pollinated by the bee and the bee receives the food to sustain its life. These are bumblebees that were working a batch of flowers at the library.
There were several colors of this flower and the bees were enjoying them all.
These bees were having a ball jumping from flower to flower and didn't mind me getting
close-ups.
I had an accident yesterday and was unable to get in and visit because of being in the emergency room with a split lip. Thirteen stitches later I'm back together and looking sad.

Sometimes when I do these memes I forget whose blog I'm on. I looked back on Mr. Linky and saw it was YOU!
That seems like a lot of sutures for the lip area. Hope you aren't in too much misery and hope you heal quickly.

By the way, I think I'm going to start calling you the "bee whisperer" - so many pretty flower photos w/ the bees!

Most interesting post; did you know that common bees are threatned by a very agressive kind that came from Africa and that they might be led to extinction?

Stitches on the lip can be a real bother! Hope you are mending well. Take care not to pop the stitches. Guess it's a good thing you don't feel like grinning anyway.

Lovely flowers.

You know I love love bees-so love the pics. But so sorry to hear you've been hurt. I hope it heals up fast!

Wonderful photos!! I love the bees, especially! I hope they survive the African bees, and the fungus and everything. The world would be a much poorer place without them.
Take care of yourself! The stitches are just the obvious part of the trauma!

Very nice! I used to be more afraid of bees until I started taking macros of them. They are definitely more interested in the flowers. :-)
