Wednesday Potpourri of Birds

There were 400 Mallard Ducks at this flooded corn field one day. These two Canada Geese came in for a landing behind them. Mister Blue Jay decided to land on the deck railing.
I know it's a rear shot of the American Robin through the branches but I liked the effect.
I took my grandson to the orthodontist and got this shot at a little pond. The Mallard Ducks have really bright orange legs.
This is a Mourning Dove in a Birch Tree. I thought it came out neat. He kept looking back at me.
My walks get me close to a lot of birds, this gives me the chance to share them. I do love nature and always have. The camera has made me much more observant.

I also like the effect of the rear shot of that cute little robin, an unusual angle.

These are great shots! I love the Robin "moon" shot. They are one bird that I don't think has mooned me...everyone else certainly does.

Tom, I sent you an email--but thanks again for the gorgeous picture. The photo and the matting and frame are all so professionally done. THANKS..

Love your bird pictures.. BUT--the next time you take the underside photo of that Robin---you'd better be careful... You may get dripped on!!!! ha

Have a great day.

Did you count them all Tom? LOL!! Just teasing. :) WOW!! Thats a lot of birds.

Although I mainly did wildlife photography, birds were always my standby when there was nothing else around. It does not matter where you go, you can always find some.

Very lovely sequence of bird images, Fishing Guy. It's true what you say: the camera generally makes us much more observant.

These are so precious! Thank you so much for sharing!

Can't get enough of those Canada Geese, here in Ontario we have tons of them and many of them did not fly down south surprisingly this year like always...wonder what happened there...
