Header Competition Season 2 # 20 "Just Now"

The header theme this week by Lanny is "Just Now" Mac, Gail's ManLanny, Dave and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and start the voting after that.

Darla, Martha and Tom W are on a break. Come back as soon as you are able my friends.

This weeks theme came at a good time. Last week we had a thaw and I went to the Cuyahoga River for some photos. The water was high and most of the snow was gone.

But this is North East Ohio and things change quickly. A storm front moved in and this is "Just Now". The roads were such a mess.
This snow plow wishes I would make tracks and get out of the way.
My neighbors grass was cool covered with the snow.
This is a friends back yard with a cool covering of the pine tree.
My header is from a trip I took "Just Now" to see how my fishing spot looked and here is the lake in its full glory. It will still be a while to put the boat on the water. Hard water is hard to get the bait into. The warm spell has made the ice unsafe to be on top.

You can see what the others have shown above.

I think you have had some of the snow like we had for a while. Now it is mostly icy rain we have or get. I sure am hoping spring comes along soon .

I do admire your many photos of the snow. They are all very good shots.

You be safe on those waters. Hopefully the winter is about gone. It is very pretty to look at though.

Nice header. Glad you have the snow now, rather than us!

Hi Tom, Love the new blog look.... It's GREAT....

Your JUST NOW photos made me shiver... You all have really had a winter this year. We truly haven't had much of anything since the middle of January. We have had the mildest February since we moved here... March???? Who knows... ha

Great set of pictures...

I like all of your pictures. They remind me of late winter in northern Ohio. You are definitely correct in saying that the weather can change quickly. Your header -- your lake -- looks very peaceful and serene.

wow..so white snow and they really look "heavy"...sometimes I dont know whether I should envy or dread having snow in my country...
Anyway, it is just a matter of getting used to..

Have a nice day, Tom!

Tom, I really like the new blog template and the centering of the header picture and everything. We got snow "just now" too, only we haven't had any since our first in November so we're (those of us who don't have to drive dangerous vehicles)enjoying it. My peas are snuggled under their blanket and the snow will be an extra blanket for the chillier air that is supposed to be coming in today. Daughter Anna, two and a half hours to the north, received eighteen inches! And she had bunnies kindle yesterday!
