The theme this week by me is "YELLOW". Mac, Chris, Kathy, Rich and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

This is a great season to see Yellow. My header is the Yellow (double knock out ) roses I grow. They are puting on quite the show right now.
It a rainy day today and the roses have the results.

They are going to be blooming for a while.
The trees are showing a lot of color. This shows the amount showing yellow verses the ones not changed.
The water is ablaze with Yellow from the trees.
This is the Yellow leaves adorning the red ones.
I grow a giant blue hostas and you can see the transition through the Yellow on the leaves. The hostas  leaves are 15" long.
See what the others have to show the above links.

Something in common again, Tom. I grabbed a shot of my yellow rose while we were at home in case we did not find yellow leaves on our hike.

Hope they have a lovely smell too. All our roses are finished now as the days are now getting shorter. Winter is on its way.

Sometimes I think I love my roses in the fall the best. I'm all done fussing about aphids, black spot and mildew and just have delicious blooms to enjoy. Thanks for sharing yours as part of the yellow theme, they do it well! I also really like the yellow shining in the water.
