"Something New"

The theme this week by Christine is "Something New". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

The weather is certainly is something new. It was 50 F a few days ago and now it is 9 F with a lot of snow.  The streets are being covered with snow at the new Acorn Corner.
The neighborhood has a blanket of snow.
The deck has a new cover of snow.
The cars have a pile of snow.
The trees out back have a white coating looking through the storm.
See what the others show on my side bar.

Your new snow storm went by us and left a couple of inches (and some cold winds)!

Everything with a new cover of snow! And the temps--certainly a frosty way to ring in the new year. We were at 7 below this morning when I drove hubby to work (about an hour away). In the two hours in the car, the heat never really got too warm!!

Nothing quite like a new layer of snow to clean up the landscape.
