I really enjoyed my time at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Florida and here are some more photos of what I saw.
There was a stingray tank and you could touch them, how cool is that. Here is a Gar and a Large Mouth Bass close together.
I loved this shot of the fish and thought I would share if with you. This was a big Snook a species I hope to catch someday.
I do hope you enjoyed the fish photos.

You have some great photos since I last popped in. Great to see. I'll be back .......
I was sort of sick all day yesterday with a bladder infection -- probably caused by the new chemotherapy drugs for my arthritis, and I just didn't do much all day but lay around and on television I saw a beautiful large mouth bass being caught. It was also released. Some sort of outdoors program I almost always stumble into when I am in a fog but can never find when I ain't. LOL

Great pictures for sure, I've caught Skate off our coasts once or twice which are like Rays... plenty of good eating flesh on the wings. I'm afraid to say I give up sea fishing after I caught one and then could not eat it as I felt bad about it. Jane had no problem as skate wings are one of the fish she would buy anyway. I have nothing against fishing but if I can't eat it then I might as well give up.
Holy moly, that is a BIG fish... what an awesome photo!
You aquarium photos are neat especially since we don't have one so it's great to see what YOU see...
thanks!!
What true fisherman doesn' like these displays or maybe a Cabella's store?
Love aquarium pics. You did a great job there!
Cheers, Klaus
The closeup on that last one is really nice!
great pictures, very well done.
Check out the stingray - very cool! And look at the mouth on that sucker, a Snook? Hadn't heard of that one but cool shots!
Love aquarium pics. It is always hard to shoot through the glass but you did a great job.
Cheers
wheee
My husband is always talking about Gars-now I know what one looks like!
Nice fish photos. The second one took me a few minutes to find the bass because when I first looked at it without reading what it was I saw the long fish but I also saw what I thought was the reflection of a fish which was actually the rock formation in the background and where the bass is, looks as though it would be the mouth of the reflection. Maybe it's just me? Anyway nice photos.
Nice heron shots. Will drop by later. Happy Shooting.
WOW! Great shots of the fish...that last one takes the cake!!
