She is a class act and did a great job.
Chuck Wicks another new face to country music was next. His 'Stealing Cinderella' is a big song for him now.
There is a love interest between him and Julianne.
The next act was Jewel. Now this is one act I don't get, she is supposed to warm up the crowd for Brad which didn't work.
She looked good and sounded bad. She yodeled for her departing shot, I was extremely glad the pain was over.
Brad was next on stage. As expected the whole atmosphere changed.

The background was much better and the dark helps my camera.
He did his latest 'Waitin on a Woman' with the new video. It features Andy Griffith as the old man.
He then did a song with a video from the latest WII game Guitar Hero with Taylor Swift challenging Little Jimmy Dickens. Derks Bentley even plays the armature singer on the game.

Brad puts on a good show and it's a lot of fun a action. He played another video from WII on 'Catch Me if You Can' which was fun. Brad is a class act and catch him if you can.

I saw him in his first performance the Opry. He wasn't known then, he was the newbee for the night. He was great then, just keeps getting better.
Good for you buddy! Having all the fun, do you? ;)
Cheers, Klaus
Sounds like a great group of artists! very nice pictures of the concert!
Way Cool!
I always get a big smile when you post your concerts - it's fun to see how much you enjoy you country music! :)
I enjoy reading about the concerts you have been to but I don't think I want to go to any. They play the music too loud for me.
I don't think I would have liked Jewel either.
wow. i never know that julianne can sing. i know she can dance and watched her win with ohno. is she good?
FG, Wonderful pictures of the concert!
Fishing Guy, thanks for publishing my poem yesterday on your blog. Come over to my blog to see my response.
Now today we get to listen to Julianne at the Brad Paisley Concert. Keep those country and western concerts coming. I always feel like I went along to the concert too after having digested your story, photos and music selections of the concert. Next time I'm putting Cape Cod Jack in the car with me on my virtual trip to the concert.
It looks like everyone had a great time. I love these things but don't get to attend them.
I love Brad Paisley! He is a great artist. I am not a big fan of Jewel myself. I never really did think she had a great voice. She needs to stay out of our good ole' country music. Thanks for sharing.
man I wish I could have been there for that concert looks like it was a blast.
Sounds like a lot of fun! I like Brad Paisley-cause he seems so real.
Tom- These are great- A tip...try using exposure compensation on your Canon camera when you shoot a brightly lit person at a concert that is surrounded by dark. Basically, your camera sees dark, and it thinks it needs a much longer exposure than it really does. That's why Julianne is so bright and she's fuzzy, because the camera used a longer shutter speed than it needed to. Exposure compensation is the +/- button. You should dial it all the way down in a situation like this, telling the camera to underexpose.
I must say that my wife and I are a fan of Ms. Hough and Mr. Paisely. Looks like it was a great concert.
Tom
Great post. I hadn't heard of Chuck Wick's song so had a listen.
I just bought a CD of Adam Brand called Good Friends.

I LOVE his songs "Online" and "I'm Still a Guy". In fact the second of the two I just mentioned should be my dad's song ;-)
