Friday - Just Catching Up

I am still healing from the operation and will go Monday to see what the doctor has to say. I have been getting out and as the weather breaks it will be easier. My goal is to be in top fishing and golfing shape by May.

I had my 600Th post and my 30,000Th visitor on the same day. I decided that the special visitor should get the prize mentioned on the post. It took a little time but I got it printed and framed. Betsy from Tennessee from Joyful Reflections was the special visitor. She visits often along with her husband George from Senior Hiker . I guess that doubled their chances. I wrote Betsy and asked her what she wanted so she chose the photo I sent to Jo after visiting her in Texas. It should be there early next week after they get back from their trip. I sent a few surprises along with the picture which I hope she enjoys. I guess she will have to read this and wonder what I meant. I was out walking in the neighborhood and what should I see in one yard. What is a grouping of squirrels called? Squirrels are solitary animals so no group name has been established. I'll just call them a Mess of Squirrels. How many do you see with-in 15 feet of each other? I have enjoyed my time on the blog and am glad so many others also enjoy the visits.

That doesn't surprise me that Betsy won the honor. Did you "tip her off" as to exactly when to "click." If so, I demand an investigation!!! Joking aside: Congratulations.

Very beautiful the picture of the group of squirrels: to have many of them together is really a rarity.
