My World #23

This is my posting for the My World meme . It is hosted by Klaus, Ivar, Sandy, Wren, Louise and myself. Last week there were over 120 people showing their worlds to us. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive. Here is part of 'My World'.

I thought I would return to the Cuyahoga River to see some of the areas that were flooded. You can see the original flooded photo here. It is still a little wet but you can walk along the Cuyahoga River to the Main Street Bridge and beyond to Brady's Leap.
I was looking from the Stow Street Bridge under Haymaker Parkway and you can see the Main Street bridge aways upstream.
There were some others walking the river and they decided to climb the wall for a better view. It looked to tricky for me to get up there.
I showed the Middlebury Avenue Bridge a while back and told you it was to be replaced. You can see the progress that has been made on the bridge. It looks like it will be done by May as planned. You can go here to check out the old steel structure.
Here is a good view across the span of the river. The base is complete and only the flooring needs completed.
Go out and visit some other great sites around the world.

Hi Tom, Looks like they are making good progress on the bridge.

I enjoyed the pictures of the river --after the water receded. Amazing --the difference.

Hope you are having a great day.

Bridges and rivers I'm in my element. I always fear the river here flooding, but so far so good. Love the names Cuyahoga and Brady's Leap too.

Interesting MW post. Nice to see that bridge as a construction site but mostly the river shots were really pretty. I think I would have climbed up on the wall too.

That looks like a lot of water Tom and where those people are standing, slippery too. I am not sure I would have tried to get up there either.

A great view of the rushing river!

At first I thought the bridge was washed out by the spring freshet. Good to see that it was just a new one being built. (Try to be the first one taking a photo of the river from the bridge and post it!!!)

The water looks very high! Those are great photos and I really love that first one...a very pretty shot.

You still have lots of water. We are still in a drought. Crazy, eh? Love the flowers below and your great photos. Keep em coming.

These photos of the river are wonderful. Watching them, it seems to follow a movie of your nice walk.

Hello FG. How is it going? Hope you are in good health.

The river is quite peaceful but i see an aftermath of the flooding at the place. Good thing there are barriers to protect you from the flooding. Great pics nevertheless.

Man that's a lot of water. Construction of any type just blows my mind. When I listen to my husband talk about it or look at the 100's of pages of blueprints he has to study......my mouth just hangs open and I look like a cartoon character!

Hi Tom! How are you? The flooded area looks beautiful inspite of the fact that it caused perhaps a lot of damage. I like to visit your blog though I am sometimes too busy. Have a great week and take care!

Beautiful shots along the river. It will be interesting to see the bridge once it's completed.

Your flooded areas still look pretty wet, but it will soon dry out.
Soon you will have a new bridge to add to your collection.
Amazingly I managed to link to My World this week, but sadly not the right words! Next week looks good!
