Sky Watch Friday #34

The new Sky Watch Friday is doing really well. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were over 300 people last week with beautiful Sky photos. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.

Looking up into the cold Winter sky from my front yard we have a lot of small aircraft fly over. I was about 15 F but we had a sunny blue sky with white fluffy clouds.
This is from my trip to the Triangle Lake Bog as a copter broke the silence.
I was able to make two captures in the clear blue skies with a temperature of 34 F. Yes we are warming up this week.
Go to the site above to see a lot of great skies.

Your reference makes me wonder what the old skywatch looked like? The new one is fab! The only one I know though. Love your skies! Sheba came in the way of mine - which was gorgeous by the way - but so was she, so their sharing, lol!
Have a great weekend! By the way, Mojo has a mackerel sky going and is wondering if anyone knows why it's called such. I immediately thought of you, since your the Fishing Guy! but not sure if you fish at sea. My father used to fish mackerel (and so I totally get why those clouds are called after it) - delicious fish!

That first one was a really clean and fine silhouette picture.

Love these shots, the helicopter in the second photo is almost lost in the branches, great work.

Have a great weekend!

Love the first one FG!
A copter in the trees. That's usually how I see them here. The flight path seems to be in my trees. :)

You've got lots flying over you. I have seen that kind of copter around here... I'm near an air base. Great shots!

It looks like we were thinking on the same line for skywatch this week, good captures.

Nice theme tying them all together. It looks like it would have been a great day to be up in a small plane.

Love these pictures. I love to see all types of aircraft. Have you ever been to Wright Pat? Love to see those big planes when they are flying around the base area there.

Oh, these are great shots, FG! You can almost feel spring trying to squeeze a foot in the door of this world of ours! Sure he/she succeeds soon!

Hi Tom, Hope you can get out and do some walking this week--since it's warming up a bit. Take care of yourself though--and go SLOWLY.

Great sky shots.. Like seeing the copter.

Have a good evening.

Blue skies, white clouds humans and nature just enjoying themselves. Really love the one with the plane in the sky - looks like such a tiny aspect of the great big sky. Great lesson in that - thanks!
