What Is It XVI

I haven't done a 'What Is It' for a while so I decided to do one again. My friend Joan from South Africa does them each Monday. She had a neat one Monday, check it out.

I cropped it out of a photo and ask you to guess what it is. It was at a distance so it is a little fuzzy. It is not the ghost of Christmas past.
This is not so much a guess but to show that getting its photo in a pine tree is hard to do.
I wanted to share a couple of paired up Mourning Doves.
Yes, the American Robin is feeding now that the snow is gone. He is a beauty.
I hope you have fun with this. I will show what it is tomorrow.

I'm guessing that the first one is a dolphin and the second one is a mockingbird. Also lovely shots of the robin and doves.

I'm guessing the underside of some bird. Based on the tree shots, it is probably something in a pine tree.

The 2nd one is definitely a chickadee! The first one is a duck's butt - I'm just not sure which duck - ha,ha!!

I guessing a duck with it's behind in the air.

The first just could be a close up of a killer whale's belly side and the second a magpie perhaps.
The other two bird shots are just lovely.

I also say it is the underside of a ducks butt but I am not that familiar with your birds to say which one. :) It that a chickadee in the second one? I know they are small birds in anycase. Our mourning doves have a black band around the neck though and your robin looks like what we call a thrush.

Yip, you've got it, we do everything different here. LOL!!

Thanks for the mention Tom.

Much appreciated. Love this, do it again please. :)

Canadian Goose trying to get supper from the bottom of the lake. Posted a similiar shot this past week. Actually just came from the local park, and photographed some more. If not Canadian Goose, don't know which type of duck.

It looks like a whale jumping out of the water, but it looks like a pond bank behind it, so that can't be it!!
I just don't know - but I'll go with a duck butt, cuz it's funny!!! hehehehe

I think I enjoyed reading the posted answers as much as I did sitting here trying to think of what might be the correct answers..I guess I would have guessed a canadian goose and a titmouse, also, if I had visited earlier..
Cool post..that was fun!
