What Is It - XVII

What Is It - This could be easy or hard dependent on what you see. Don't read too much into it.

I will give you an answer tomorrow morning.

Update on my health condition:

The doctors visit went fairly well. I ended up getting an ultrasound on my leg because I have a bump/clot in my veins in the upper calf. The technician didn't think there were any problems but we will see what the doctors says. I went out walking for an hour today and got a little tired.

A few days back I saw some Mallard Ducks on a little stream and tried shooting them trough some small trees.
There were several there so I had fun with them. These two came out into the open.
I do enjoy reflection shots so I felt these came out well. Can you see the female behind?

Hi Tom, Glad you got a good report. Hope the leg/clot is not going to present a problem.

That first picture is puzzling.. Since you wrote 17 in the title, maybe you are talking about St. Patrick's Day on the 17th. And since there's some moss/lichen on those rocks (or bark), maybe that's where you are going. I can't see in the cave (or whatever it is) --so am not sure what's in there...

Great duck pictures.
Take Care,
Betsy

Looks like an old tire to me. You better not over do it!!!

This looks like a hole in a tree or concrete. Love those colorful mallards.

Tom, it seems like things are going better and better with you thank goodness. Just a bit of walking every day soon has us up and (almost :) ) running again. I hope the clot is nothing serious. Now they have injections which can dissolve them easily. Thanks for the update and keep us posted. Stay positive!!

Oh goody - a what is it!

I think it is a tree as Imac already noted, but I'll go further and say it is a pine tree or log really since it seems to be cut off. I wonder if leprechauns are hiding in the darkness on this St. Patrick's Day. :)
Take care of yourself!

A surprise to all
is what it will be.
I can tell you for sure.
it's not a tree.

If you see a cave
I'd look again
and not an old tire
out in the rain.

Not made from concrete
that's for sure
but the material
is important and much more.

So look in the hole
and figure it out
and then come back
with another shout.

You got some great pictures of the Mallards. Thanks for sharing them with us. I'm glad you got a good report from the doctor. Just don't overdo things!

I am so happy that the doctor's report is good and all is well.
I pray that the ultra sound comes back just as positive!
Be well and take it easy on the walks and don't over exert yourself... I know you love your walks but talk it nice and slow until your body is stronger!

Hugs♥
