Camera Critters by Misty Dawn, go here to see who's participating.
My grandson, Soccer Boy, and I were in a parking lot with a lot of Ringed Billed Gulls. We got them to fly and took this photo as some took wing.
They really are a pretty bird, people feed them in the parking lots.

Great photos of the gulls, I always wonder why Gulls are attracted to parking lots. Is it the color?
I enjoyed your photos. Isn't it fun to experience living creatures up close and personal?
Birdies, great shot Tom.
I always enjoy watching the gulls -- beg and fly and soar -- amazing !! Nice shots. Thank you!
Gulls are real acrobats. And scavengers too. Especially like the shot with the shadow.
Didn't you read Johnathan Livingston Seagull?
Beautiful shots !! Birds are beautiful !!Unseen Rajasthan

I've not seen those before.
I like to watch when a flock of them take off. Birds just amaze me.
Nice action shots FG!
I really like the new header.
These birds are fascinating.Because they are fairly numerous they make good photo subjects. Thanks for the interesting pictures.
Blessings,Ruth
Beautiful birds! The colour gradients of the skies in the first photo is excellent.
Have a nice weekend.

The bottom gull looks like a plane about to crash!
fabulous photos you captured them well
Lovely shots of the sea gulls and a wonderful capture of the bird with its shadow.
Love. Love. LOVE the shadow!
They are pretty birds and don't they fly low? Anxious not to miss out on snacks, perhaps. Great action shots.
Wow you guys got some great shots!
Wonderful gull shots ;-)
I love the duck header and the beautiful one with the reflections too.
Hugs and blessings,
An excellent Camera Critters series, Tom. I like how you captured a lot of different aspects of the bird.
Also I really like the header. I would have picked it too, over the other one, but the second one is very good too-I guess I like the dramatic up and close aspect of the one you chose.
