Friday Fun Photos - Birds

Friday fun photos showing bird positions.

Birds can get into some fun poses, check out this Blue Jay trying to climb the pole. A Cow Bird on top with a juvenile Cardinal below.
This is a female Red-wing Blackbird taking a powerful stance.
Birds can be fun to watch.

These are great bird shots. All prominent in my old Missouri home, but only red-wing blackbirds here. I really miss the others--even the cowbirds. I love the noise they make.

I do agree Tom and every other animal in nature too. Sometimes they seem to have such human traits and I have to smile at them.

Tom, I think you set up obstacles for the birds so you can get these great pictures. That new header of the Mallard is sensational, such detail. I can even see the curled tail feather. It is fun watching the birds. I need to get my feeders hung.

Those birds look like they have no clue their photos are being taken. What awesome candids! I love the colors on the cow bird. Oh, and your header photo is spectacular!
