Friday Fun Photos

The fence around my garden is to keep critter out, especially Groundhogs. So why is it I have one climbing the fence to get the leftover tomatoes. Yes, it is on top of the fence. Isn't that amazing? We had more small tomatoes then we could use. Yes he did get up on top and he is a big fellow.
The White Tailed Deer are also getting braver. This mother and her young fawns came all the way up to the house. I will show you more tomorrow.
My friend, Tom of Wiggers World , gave my site his seal of approval. Thanks for the neat gift of approval Tom. I passed the 50,000 hit mark this past Tuesday. I put everyone that commented in that period of time and have chosen two people to get a framed photo from my collection of captures. The winners are Tipper of Blind Pig & the Acorn with the NC Appalachian life and Darla from Florida and here neat garden blooms. I will make them something as soon as they choose what they want framed.

Those critters must really be hungry to be so brave.

I think you will have to come up with a taller fence! I didn't know groundhogs could climb a fence. What neat photos! Love the deer!

I'm wrestling with coons these days! Our soil is too shallow for groundhogs!

But the 'coons have opposable thumbs. They are wicked! I feel for you. Except that we only had a dozen tomatoes. Not a fruitful season, excuse the pun!

Love the deer --but we haven't seen many lately in our area. We'll see more as it gets colder outside I'm sure. Groundhogs --you can KEEP....

Congrats on the award...

It looks like your groundhog is determined to eat. . We have a ground hog that walks across the top of our chained link fence eating morning glories along the way. I love your deer photos too. Cool critters.

Cute and brave deer..they really are getting to daring these days..we live in a VERY residential area and we have several deer showing up in our development1 I always worry they will get hit by a car before they make it back across the road to what woods is left!!
