My World - One Year

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Louise and myself. My World is one year old, what a great day. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.

I went fishing this morning on Lake Hodgson. There was a full moon over the lake which calls for a good bite. The windows on my truck were covered with ice when I got to it to hook-up the boat. We have cold front conditions which points toward poor fishing. The weather won, only a few small Crappie. There was a South wind blowing down the lake with a fair force. You can see the moon reflecting off the water at a little after 7 AM. The sun started to rise and light the sky.
The sun finally got high enough to start lighting the tree on the far shore. My hands were cold from the water and the wind and I didn't stay too long so as not to discourage my self from any more trips to the lake. Fall is in full force and conditions are going downhill quickly.
It still was a fun time to see the lake, geese, sea gulls and one other fisherman. I did see a deer on the way home so that was a treat.

Nice shots, we are still in the high 80's around here with thick humidity! I am waiting for cooler weather big time.

Nice photographs. All in all, it looked like a decent outing. It's tough getting out on the lake so early when its cold.

Hi Tom, We've had some lousy weather also. It has rained and rained. And it's chilly and we also had some strong winds...The tress still haven't turned here--but when they do, hopefully they will be really pretty this year. Fall can be strange, can't it????

Hope you get some more good fishing in BEFORE winter gets here.

Well, it was a beautiful day for photography, even if a little cold for the fish!

On the third photo, I could see hints of fall colors, it seems you have autumn full blown. Well, better luck next time with the fishing.

Ice?! No way! It's only October.
We are having a cold front move through too. But no ice, thank goodness. I'm still waiting on cucumbers and green beans.

Seems like fishing season is over for you Tom. You have really been doing well with it lately though.

Wow, I can't believe that meme is a year old.

You are one hardy fisherman. But the images alone were worth it, even if the fishing wasn't the best. We had fierce winds yesterday and it's beginning to feel like winter.
