Sky Watch Season # 4 Episode # 16

Sky Watch Friday this is the place. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link a 3:00 PM EDT. SWF is run by Klaus, Louise, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia and myself.

I was driving to PA for a golf outing with my brother and nephew and drove into this beautiful sunrise. The sky was ablaze as the Sun crested the horizon.
My brother-in-law, Bro, made another neat capture out his back door during a Texas lightning storm. I think the capture is stunning with his pair tree near the base of the strike.
There are a lot of great sites to visit above to see great skies around the world.

WOW!!! A lightning strike -- what an awesome thing to catch (with the camera)! Congrats to your bro. All I ever seem to catch is the thunder, but that doesn't photograph well, does it?

The sunrise picture is fabulous. So is the lightning---although it's scary to think of lightning that close to the ground... Great pictures.

Great pics!

I note in your sidebar you are the recipient of numerous awards, and I would like to offer you another one: The Manly Blogger Guy Award. It has gone virtually nowhere since I created it in July. I guess the awardees are demonstrating the masculine sloth required to receive the award, and are not passing it on.
