What Is It XXXVII

My World post is just below.

I think this would be a tough week for me and I took the photos but do your best.

#1 This is really tough and I would have to give anyone special credit on this one. You really need to focus in on this one.
#2 This could be easy or hard. You let me know. There are two elements to guess.
Another chance to have fun with the guesses.

1. A hawk making off with the rabbit he/she just caught.
2. Lichen among the pine needles.

There! How'd I do??

I am going to say that

#1 is a turkey running away in case you got hold of him and made him dinner. :)

I agree with Tsannie about the lichen and the pine needles but would add that the red might be a fungi.

Poor old YKW is going to cry when he sees that I already have the answers. LOL!!

1. I was thinking that it looked like fishing guy finially nailed that garden robbing groundhog with his slipper. If that's not it, I have no clue

2. What is lichen ??

The top shot is a giant moth landing on a running child.

I can't identify the one in the pine needles, because I'm sure I have never seen it. But I lichen reading other peoples' answers.

Wow Tom! Finally an actual photo of the elusive Bug Lady! She really does have the legs of a hawk and the hair that looks like wings!

As you know I have been to Africa in search of the Bug Lady and will not reveal any photo's I may have until the story has been revealed.

I did however see the remains of one of her camps and saw that say meal that you have in the second photo.

She seems to eat the weirdest things... yuck!

Craig: So you wait till you think I am asleep and then post something to cause trouble do you? Well let me tell you that I have been watch for this sneaky move and put matchsticks under my eyelids to keep them open so I could see what was going on here.

That leg cannot be mine as it does not show enough thigh. Mine are MUCH better looking, and as far as food goes, I eat only the choicest humans.... sorry I meant to say the choicest hamburgers.

LOL!! LOL!!

Definitely a hawk but with what? It almost looks like chicken bones. :) Hawks here this week are chasing my squirrels so maybe what's left of a squirrel.
The second one - not pine and Jenn could be right with Hemlock needles so to be different I'll say it looks like some kind of seed pod - ? and some kind of lichen as well.
