My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 12

We had no snow at Christmas but got another surprise today. Click on the photo to see the five birds, three in the woods and two on the feeder.


We got 4" of snow and the male Northern Cardinals really stand out in the snow.

The rear feeder had a Black Capped Chickadee, a female Northern Cardinal and a House Sparrow. It looks like the ca

love your captures of the wintry wonderland in your backyard. i have not ventured out into mine to fill feeders and feel a tad bad. snow was too deep and i didn't want to wind up face down in it.

Oh how pretty... LOVE the snow, and those Cardinals can't hide from you when there's snow out there, can they???? Such Gorgeous BIRDS.... I'm posting birds tomorrow.

Snow and Cardinals were meant for each other.Soooo,why don't we have any Cardinals,we have lots of snow?Oh,I know,this is not quite their range,although some show up each year in Manitoba.

Those male cardinals are definitely a bright red. These are great shots. Now all you have to do is keep the feeders full.

I believe I see 5 birds in the first photo, look down a little across to the left of the Cardinal in the center, is that a female cardinal in there?

Tom, Gosh I really like your new header..very good shots of those wrens! What a wintery scene you captured ...glad to hear you didn't get snow on Christmas..like us you had white all around just not on the roads...thankgoodness..makes it so much easier to get to the relatives for dinner.
