We are ready to turn the bend into December. The weather is a changing and the results can be seen on my deck.
I was able to capture a 13 point buck in the back yard. The deer are coming to share the food.
I put some corn out and the deer came in a few hours later.
How many animals do you see in this photo. Take a good look around the yard and in the woods.
What I chose as my header is a view of the snow covered trees in back yard. Is this the start of December weather? See what the others have shown from the above links.

This has been a great year fishing. I have had a lot of neat catches that I give thanks for. Here are a few. This is a channel cat I caught early in the year.
Here is an early Spring walleye.
This is a neat Red Ear Bluegill, it was a Fish Ohio but I didn't turn this one in.
Here is an 11 1/4" Red Ear Bluegill that is my Fish Ohio.
Here is a pair of nice Black Crappies that I was thankful to have caught.
But the one I'm most thankful for is the header Fish Ohio Black Crappie that was
13 1/2" long. It was a year to give thanks for the fishing.

This was a neat theme this week by my friend Mac. The neat thing with a college town is you have views of both the town and the college. We are building the new Fairchild Ave. Bridge.
It is now open and almost complete.
I walked onto the bridge to get a view of the Cuyahoga River, one of the main reasons there is the city of Kent.
This is a view of the Main Street Bridge looking up the Cuyahoga River toward the Fairchild Bridge. you can see the grain elevator in this postcard.
This is the old train depot which has been converted to a restaurant.
Here is a view of the grain elevator.
There is new construction as the college makes a Hotel and Convention Center in the downtown area.
Here is a water tower on the KSU campus.
What I chose for my header is a postcard shot of the MAC Center which is used for sporting events and concerts. I know it wasn't named after our Mac from England.

This theme brought back memories from a few days back when the weird and wonderful comes out on on the streets. So, let us go to downtown Kent for some views of the celebration.
First some fun looks at Halloween as Kent becomes weird and wonderful.
How weird and wonderful are Frankenstein and his bride.Check out the sanguine colored roses. {Just learned that word last week}.
This pair of Egyptians caught my eye.
There was this neat chimp that had really scored with two bananas.
How about the Godzilla show , what a great group of construction.
I ended up choosing a weird and wonderful costume for my header. I really enjoyed this one. also nice pose.

This weeks theme was a challenge. First I had to figure out what Sanguine was and then how to show it. Lanny chose a color which only a women would use, way to go my friend. I started looking for that color and soon found what I thought would show it. I decide to show a sanguine colored wild crab apple tree in the neighborhood.
I went in a little closer to see the tree.
I then went in to see the berries.
Then I looked at them in the shade.
I chose the header from the close-up photos of the tree. It sure looks like small apples.
