The theme this week is by Kathy is "Thanks". Mac, Gail's Man, Lanny,Dave,Kathy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and voting begins after that.
This has been a great year fishing. I have had a lot of neat catches that I give thanks for. Here are a few. This is a channel cat I caught early in the year.
Here is an early Spring walleye.
This is a neat Red Ear Bluegill, it was a Fish Ohio but I didn't turn this one in.
Here is an 11 1/4" Red Ear Bluegill that is my Fish Ohio.
Here is a pair of nice Black Crappies that I was thankful to have caught.
But the one I'm most thankful for is the header Fish Ohio Black Crappie that was
13 1/2" long. It was a year to give thanks for the fishing.
See what the others have shown from the above links.

For me the header fish are the most beautiful

I was showing Mac your photos and looked up and he was getting the bass boat keys off the keyring...for crying out loud, it's the night before Thanksgiving, I was yelling at him, and he tells me he's thankful there's gas in the boat engine...yeah, it's your blog...now it's my nightmare!!!
Great photos really...happy Thanksgiving...sending this from my other blog, not Holding Patterns this time lol...

Happy American Thanksgiving, how happy to celebrate it fishing!
I've been missing Fridays, what with one thing and another.
Cheers from Snowy Cottage Country!
I'm sorry I'm laughing so hard about that fish's name, I had to use my inhaler. Clearly I'm a twelve year old boy today! It doesn't help when I have another "twelve-year-old-boy" sitting next to me, laughing as well. Clearly none of us in this family are adults!
I love the fish pictures, they inspire the fisher-girl in me. And as soon as I am done rippin' up the farm with my tractor, some one will actually tell me to "go fishin'"! That will be a day made in heaven for me! Then I will ring you up for fish advice, for now, I just sit and admire. Laugh a bit and then admire some more!
Have a splendid Thanksgiving! Do you have a "Turduckish" for your dinner?
wow..happy thanksgiving!
Well you've certainly caught a variety of fish with your rod and line!
Beautiful fish photos--it is good to have a passionate hobby, and we can be grateful for that.
Your fish are beauties, all. Your smile makes these pictures perfect.
Very nice sequence of fish images, Tom.
Greetings from Turin
Love your black crappie sweater!
