"FINISHED"

The theme this week by Kathy  is "Finished". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

Here is something I wished was FINISHED. This project was supposed to be done before September 1st and Kent State University was back in class. The traffic picks up greatly when school starts. This photo was taken today. Maybe this will  finish by October.
As you can see the construction is far from finished.
Here they are in construction.
They still have a long way to go. Check out this lack of roadway.
The bridge spans the tracks and the trains can pass.
You can see the original wall under this part of the span.
There was a discussion about this fence that delayed construction some. It is over the tracks to protect the trains. Of course, I was easily able to get the above photos which is above the track.
See what the others have to show on my sidebar.

It's amazing, how much work goes into a thing that is easily taken for granted. Nice shots of the progress!

Great shots! From your photos 75 days seems a highly optimistic schedule for rebuilding the bridge. Some of the bridge work around here has done one lane at a time.

What a mess. It reminds me of around here in Chicagoland--always some road under construction, and it's usually the one you always use, lol. Hope it gets finished soon!

It seems we can't go anywhere nowadays without running into road construction of some kind!
