Winter

The theme this week by Lew is "Winter". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.

The theme fit perfect with 8" of snow overnight and the temperatures dropped to 10F. I dressed warm and shoveled the front sidewalk.
My wife got a couple of neat photos of the flying snow.
She got the shovel full flying away. It was heavy wet snow stuck together.
The Cuyahoga Valley had a cover of snow.
This bridge area over the turnpike was covered with snow.
I was done shoveling and using the snow blower and it cleaned up pretty well.
This is a view of the edge of the city with a covering of snow.
See what  the others show on my side bar.

Winter has arrived for you. We had a day of snow a week ago Sunday. GONE! Hopefully we can make our trek to the good stuff next month.

Ouch. That wet stuff is a back-breaker... but it sure is fun for those kids making snowmen!

Wow, such classic photos! The snow shoveling is perfect for the WINTER theme. We're supposed to have a "warm-up" later this week--upper 30s! Hopefully a little snow will melt--though we've had hardly any at all compared to a year ago.

I love the snow! It's the cold that is just too bitter...
