The Florida Aquarium Has More

The Florida Aquarium offered a multitude of fish shots. these two reef fish were very colorful. This blue one was iridescent.
Hear is a little Long Eared Owl or a Screech Owl.
This was the best orchid I saw, how colorful.
This is when I give a shout out to Klaus of Virtua Gallery, my Florida bird expert, if you've haven't seen his sight you should. I think this is an White Ibis.

What the heck is this reddish one, a Glossy Ibis.
A heron for sure, maybe a Tri-colored Heron.
I think this is a Limpken, then again Klaus might know.
I really liked the aquarium and have so much more to show.

Very nice shots, Tom. You're spot on with you ID's, just the last one is off a little. Though it looks a little like a Limpkin - it actually is a White Ibis - a young one - they turn white later on! Seems like a great place - where was that again? Tampa?
Cheers, Klaus

Great pictures. I used to see the white ibis' all the time when I lived in Orlando, as well as the egrets and the sand hill cranes.
Love the owl!

Thanks Klaus, I just learned about the Limpkin last week from your sight and it looked familiar. The Florida Aquarium is in Tampa and is a great place.

I am not sure about the owl but it looks like the screech owls we have had here. None now but they were here over the winter.

Great shots! If you ever get the chance, come visit our Texas State Aquarium located in Corpus Christi. Not many birds but a great aquarium.
