Foal Update And Extras

The foals are doing quite well. Between the mothers' milk and the grass they are looking quite healthy. You can see him graze right beside his mother.
The other little guy was taking a nap in the pen.
He got up, got a drink and went back to grazing after the rest.
I see everyone getting great butterfly picture. The only one that I see and can capture is the Small White Butterfly. Not a real beauty but you work with what you see.
The rabbits in the back yard are multiplying. There were two eating the grass in the back yard.
The final thing I saw at a pond was a Painted Turtle. I tried to move for a better angle but it said no way and dove into the pond. It was a fun trip around the area.
I did make a first capture for me this week which I will show on Camera Critters on Sunday.

Enjoyed these. Especially the turtle. And how lovely you made that dandelion to us all.

Love the turtle shot! Our local turles seem to be hiding lately.

I took a photo of a similar white butterfly, but I think your capture is way better than mine. These white ones don't stay in one place for very long, do they?

Great colt.
Terrific photos.

Tha's what rabbits do: multiply and eat grass. For rabbits, life is good, unless the fox comes along.

Nice turtle.

Thanks for the visit,
Troy

You are gooood. I have yet to get even one butterfly, Baby animials of any kind are cute. I miss turtles. We don't have many here. We had lots in OK. They use to "migrate" and be road hazzards.
Kept the crows happy though.

The babies are absolutely, positively, undeniably, adorable! My mother would have a fit over them! I'll show your photos to her tomorrow when she's back at work.

enjoyed your post today Fishing guy.
Got a few horses on my patch, with just the one foal. No turtles though!

Nice bunch of pictures! I enjoyed seeing the horses again. I have a picture of two rabbits almost identical to that.

Is it hot by Lake Eire? We are hoping for rain this afternoon to break the past week's temps in the upper 90's with lots of humidity. Great photos. I liked the frisky foals best. But it sounds like the wild bunnies have really been frisky.

Good job!

Great pics. I haven't had the chance to see any foals. Lori's horses are yearlings and older. The butterflies never want to cooperate with photographers! They just can't sit still long enough!

Awww... the baby horse is awesome...
loving the turtle as well.
I can't get butterflies at all either!!
The weather here has been extremely hot right now so I'm not sure if that has been affecting the butterflies... it's been close to 100F the last 10 days.... even my fishing is non existent.
Take care.
