Sky Watch Friday 7-12

It's Sky Watch Friday and it's your chance to post your Sky pictures and go to Wiggers World to join. Why don't you get a photo of the sky and join in.

This is my scary Northern Ohio Sky. The Sun was setting and in my mind the dark clouds on the left look like they want it to leave the area. Maybe they are going to have a late snack. This is the Florida Sky with these active puffy white clouds. The one cloud on the left looks like it's someone bending over to play with his little dog which is on its back. I don't remember seeing the USA Flag until I saw the photo on the computer.
I thought both pictures were a lot of Sky fun. Do you see more or even what I saw?

It's hard for me to "see" that stuff. I see cirrus being overtaken my nimbus... possibly rain in the future, and I see some sheared swelling cumulus. Likely some rain under those at that time or shortly afterward. BEAUTIFUL SKY FUN!!!

Once upon a time there was this great and fantastic group of people who blogged and photographed … with a click, click here, a snap, snap there, all of them had a week to look upon the sky … day and night, by dusk or dawn, sunrise or sunset … and always there where great and fantastic photos to be seen when SKY WATCH was opened …

I am one of those proud sky watchers and I really enjoy each and every one of the photos you show us. I really think you are a first class sky watcher!

I don't try to make pictures out of clouds in the sky. I just enjoy them for their massive or whispy beauty. Your photos show two of the many many phases that our sky goes through. They are both beautiful samples.

They are skyfun indeed!! And they stimulate one's imagination. Both skies are beautiful. Our sky was grey all day and is now a sort of light pinkish.

Two very different shots, and I like them both. I don't see the figures you describe, but sometimes I see things no one else does so it all evens out.

Excellent for Sky Watch--or for any time in my book. To think all these years I have been taking sky shots and no body got it, now I get to use them on my two blogs!

Ah - to lie on my back in the grass and look at the clouds - OK, can't do that any more - wouldn't be able to get up - lol - but I surely enjoyed looking at these.

Let me tell you a funny story, my friend. After moving from the-Cloudiest-County-Ohio to out here in Missouri... I sat one night staring at all the stars in the sky in absolute amazement. I said "The sky is so much different here!", to which my husband replied, "It's the same sky, just a different view."
