I liked the way the Crow hid in the Pine Tree.
A female Mallard Duck swimming away.
This one was showing her colors on the pond edge.
This fancy stepping male Mallard Duck was in full colors.
I cropped him out of the pair shot, which one do you like best.
A Great Blue Heron in bright sun that wasn't real co-operative but I got this shot of the skinny bird.
This Great Blue Heron at a pond with some ducks.
A Red-Tailed Hawk on a dead tree, a long way out but it was an opportunity.
An American Goldfinch that landed when I was shooting some flower. I seized the moment with my camera.
The is a Killdeer hiding deep in the grass.
I do hope you enjoyed this trip through the birds that were missed.

Like the female mallard, showing her colors.
I think the pics are great. I think like you do though, wondering if some are good enough. I think as long as they're something you want to share, share it. :-)
All these oval photos of birds are quite charming. Nice presentation. The ovals are what caught my eye.
I love the way you edit and what a nice presentation of birdies :) Love them all.
Most definitely enjoyed it! I like the cropped pic with the male mallard. Did you crop another of the female?
I love all of these photos. The colors are great. For some reason I always enjoy the brilliant orange of the webbed feet! Great shots.
There's a whole segment of the blogging population that doesn't care WHAT the bird shot looks like, as long as it's a bird!
However, the editing is nice. My favorite is the female duck that is showing her colors. I like the ovals, too. It makes it look like a storybook.
I did enjoy them, very much - I especially like the second female mallard.
Do you visit NCMountainWoman's blog. Of all people, you need to see this. http://ncmountainwoman.blogspot.com/
Nice series of outtakes! Thank you for sharing it with us!
Nice series of shots FG!
The cropped photo of the mallard is my favorite!
A great collection of birds!
I think you did a great job. Keep up the good work :-)
Great shots. You have done a really good job with these images and their presentations.
Cheers
nice snaps!!
I love the 3rd picture! Great job.
Well they WERE worth posting. Good job! Cheers, Klaus
Great shots, every one of them. Glad they made the cut.
Ducks! I am instantly happy when I see ducks! We have two of our very own and that is just not enough. I've told Josh that I want MORE. We decided not to get more until we have children here so that they can share in the duckling experience.
Blessings!
Lacy
great pictures of the ducks and bird
I love the ducks, you know I haven't adjusted anything on any of my photos...guess I should practice that too. I like the photo of the single duck that you cropped of the pair.
Nice bird pics fishing guy! I like the Goldfinch, so much different from the european ones.
My favorite is the mallard without his mate.
I like the pair as they almost seem to be stepping together. I thought I was the only one who has "not quite there" photos....
So glad they finally made the "cut" thanks fishing guy
Now see that just isn't fair-your pics that you decided not to use-are far better than the ones I choose to use!! Your just good. I like the high stepping duck with the female, he looks like he is out to impress her.
I'm glad you posted these pics FG..they're all great ..my favourites would have to be the mallards..esp the male.. very striking he is :D
I love the pics FG. I like the mallard singled out in the pair shot the best, but that's not to say I don't like the other one with the female either.
It just looks neat having a close up shot of him.
I don't have a personal blog any more so I can't get in on your sky shots for awhile. Litigation is demanding, so I only have time to run one blog for now.
I love your site FG. You have done so well with it!
Looks like you are having fun with the camera and the birds!
