Since I had the camera at ready I shot a few Bumble Bees.
This one was really covered in pollen all over doing its job.
Here is a Honey Bee working the sedum.
This is my forth butterfly I was able to get this year. I was kidding Klaus of Virtua Gallery today because he had a post of 21 beautiful butterflies today and I was happy with this one. Check out his slide show and display of butterflies.

I love all these insects. very nice!
Maybe Klaus found a butterfly garden. Like you, I've only seen about 4 different kinds in my area.
I've never seen the one you have pictured today. It's really pretty. Nice pictures!
Nice captures! I just posted a shot of a Sulphur butterfly, there are so many variations of Sulphurs that I hesitate to be more specific.
Thanks for taking the time to research your Meadow Fritillary, they to can be the very devil to identify.
Oh, FG, these are exquisite!
You got another one on me. I haven't seen the Meadow Fritillary yet. I like the 2nd bee (on the pink sedum) the best.
Well maybe you only have one butterfly, but it's a beauty!
Great pictures, as usual!
FG great butterfly shots. You certainly have an eye for them.
Cheers

So beautiful... I know I'm always in for a treat when I arrive here on your blog. Very well done.
Very nice.....the bees do like the Sedum.
Got something waiting for you at my place, c'mon over and pick it up!
Well I envy your beautiful butterfly pics and bees - yesterday I had ZERO. Well done!

I enjoyed your series of photos this morning. Love your butterlies, bees and flowers.
Nice Meadow Fritillary. We don't have this species in Texas.
Thanks for sharing,
Troy
All good FG - love the one of the bee on the pink blossom - makes for a really nice photo!
Beautiful Photos! Very, very nice.
a very beautiful series of photos
Four butterflies is more than I have gotten! All mine are flying, which doesn't make for terrific photos. I actually got two or three sitting still in a butterfly exhibit at the botanical garden last week, but never just outside. The sedum is a great backdrop for these photos!
