My friends Luiz and Denise have a Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 7GMT is the post time.
I planted some annuals to add color in my house border. I used Impatients this year for the white, pink and red colors. The first photo was taken in early summer showing how the plants started to spread.
This is the way it looked late in the season along with my little nature sanctuary. The plants did a nice job of filling out the area.
Here is another area that has some perennials, chives and the color around the air conditioner. We had good rain much of the summer so it allowed the plants to grow without any watering.

I like your impatiens. You know they will reseed themselves from dropped blossoms. I takes a little while but they do reappear like a long lost friend from a snow storm.
Last year I had these wonderful flowers in my flower pots but this year I couldn’t grow them again for some unknown reason to me. I love those little flowers of various colours very much. And your photos are really beautiful and colourful.
Pretty flowers! Impatiens grow really well under the edge of my porch.
The Impatients are very beautiful! They have such joyful colours!
They are beautiful!
(hope that they grow well)
Colourfull and beautiful!!!
Pretty flowers.
Those are beautiful. I love to look at flowers but have never been a person that likes yard work. :)
Beautiful flowers!
Love your flower bed so pretty and colorful. like all they really spread out. Very nice!
Its a flower haven! I call everyday since they have blossoms everyday, but annual might be more appropriate if they bloom the whole year :D
beautiful colors, my son would love it in your garden, unfortunately picking out the petals...=D Have a nice week!
So nice of you to share your impatiens! My neighbors have pulled all theirs out and will plant bulbs in that spot. They plant the same flowers every year, whereas I am always trying something new. I found impatiens require a lot of water, especially if they are in the sun. But next year I'd like to plant some by the side of my house. I like the way your garden has the squirrel, raccoon and grandkids' sign.
Your garden looks fine! Now with winter coming, we shall have to find winter flowers or indoor plants. That is getting more and more difficult.
Thanks for the visit.
What a pretty flower the impatiens is. Your garden is lovely and these are great photos.
Certainly got flower power here Fishing Guy.lol.
Thanks for visiting my blog now ive started blogging again and your kind comments.
Blow, it printed twice.lol.
You certainly have a green thumb. I've never had luck with Impatients. And it seems this year I haven't had luck with much.
But there's always next year!!
I love the combination of colors, very pretty..
Lovely little gardens, FG! Your impatiens are beautiful. I didn't have to water this summer either.
Even when I lived where it was rainy and humid, I never had anything like that which would survive without at least some water. Very pretty! Looks summery and warm!
Very well done.... lots of pretty colors.
I love impatients and they will reseed!!
I love these flowers. Not long ago, I didn't know their name. ;-) Thanks for sharing with us.
Paz
I know what you mean! It's really getting cold so I'm sure it's because of the weather:) Those shots though makes you wished it's summer again!

Such great colors. There's nothing like planting something and watching it thrive and grow.

Your impatiens did a lot better than the ones I planted even with all the rain we had....

One of the easiest flowers to grow and take care of - yours were very pretty!
I'm sure missing having any flowers around.

I love this flowers.
its looks smiling to us.
Such happy flowers!
They bring back memories from my childhood. I always had a little garden plot of my own to plant and tend to and those were my favorite flowers to plant!
Blessings,

Impatiens are such happy looking flower - they make a riot of colour. I really should think about putting some of them in at the Kahshe Cottage next summer!
