I have spent some time with my youngest grandson, Soccer Boy, this last week. We went to the driving range and hit some golf balls. He has a good swing for an 8 year old.
We went to the Potage County Fair and he got to pet the animals.

There is this neat red and white one with a bumble bee and a little bug.
Here is a Cardinal sharing the feeder.
Jake had lost his left eye as a pup and could only see out the right side. He never let that slow him down.
He was always ready for a treat because he was a good boy.
Goodbye Jake, you were a proud dog. All the kids in the neighborhood wanted to pet the puppy.
In memory of Jake, he was a good dog: The Pirates of the Mississippi sing "Feed Jake".
As I closed in on the deer I saw that it was a young one that still had it spots. When I clicked on the photo I saw it was a young buck with its horns just starting.
There sure was a lot of fun this week.

The Direct TV Blimp came over our back yard and I got this photo with my wife's camera. It must have been in the area for work or it was a brand new one out for a test ride. It looks like a study of blue on blue. I'm glad the green tree was there.
Everywhere I turned they were just popping into view.

The structure under the bridge is quite nice with two piers and rip-rap on the sides.
The single flower is even more outstanding.
They stopped feeding and kept a close eye on me.
