Today's Flowers # 55

My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 4 GMT is the post time.

I decided this year for my accent flowers were to be Dahlias. I planted them to accent the Calla Lilies and Rose bushes. Here is the results of the planting. There is this neat red and white one with a bumble bee and a little bug.
The orange and yellow one put on quite the show. It was late in life but the bee still check it out.
Just check out the red colorful one.
The purple and white one is very special combination.
Since it was a mixture of plants I have many more combinatios to show next week.

Great colors to add to your yard, Tom. I love all of those colors --and especially the ones with white in them. Beautiful.
Hugs to you both,

You have some beautiful dahlias, Tom. I used to have some dahlias when I lived in the midwest, but haven't planted any recently. I really need to get some.

I love your beautiful dahlias and they look the way I thought dahlias sould look. The ones that I saw in Seattle were so tall...4-5'. I loved them, but couldn't imagine where to plant them.

Dahlias are great plants and you have beautiful colors of them. I enlarged the first photo and I love the flower garden with the critters, do you have one for every 'live' critter you see? That crossing sign is adorable!
