Camera Critters by Misty Dawn, go here to see who's participating.
Here are some more animals from my Summer Trip to The Wilds in Ohio. You can see the first post here. This is a Banteng the forerunner of today's cows. A very large animal.
This is a Scimitar Oryx, the horns are the shape of the sword.

Great pictures taken in the 'wilds' Tom. Those camels need a good brushing!!!! ha....

These are quite unusual animals. Not what we see on an ordinary day, for sure! Great post!
Those camels look like they need a barber. :)

Who knew such a wide variety of critters could be seen in Ohio? Certainly not me! Thanks for the visit and Happy Halloween.
Hugs and blessings,
Pretty cool critters you have here!
What a great safari! Never would have expected to encounter such varied beasts in Ohio...
Goodness...not your every day Ohio animals for sure! Great shots.
A nice pseudo safari!
So interesting animals and very nice shots, Tom!
wow..interesting..
Quite an impressive set of horns on that Scimitar Oryx. Thanks for the interesting photos.
It does look like you were on a safari!! Great photos here..dang, those are some horns there!
I love the camels, like big piles of carpet :) The oryx is impressive!
Super set ! Bravo !
Such neat animals.
So many animals...where were you in Ohio!
oh gosh those horns are beautiful, the camels definitely need a hair cut LOL
Wow, those camels are really shaggy! I wonder if that itches.
Wow, those are some awesome photos! I love it. Those were definitely some shaggy shedding camels. And the rhinos were incredible!!
Those bactrians look like a range of mountains.
All those large mammamals generate quite a large stench. That is why I am quite happy with your pics... nicely captured views, but no field patties.
Still think these were not taken in Ohio. Those bad hair day camels went extinct in the US after the last ice age. But they are good shots, wherever taken. ;-)
