Camera Critters # 82

Camera Critters by Misty Dawn, go here to see who's participating.

Here are some more animals from my Summer Trip to The Wilds in Ohio. You can see the first post here. This is a Banteng the forerunner of today's cows. A very large animal.
This is a Scimitar Oryx, the horns are the shape of the sword.
This is an Eland a very large field grazer.
These are the Asian Rhino in the water.
These are the Bactrian Camel in their shedding phase.
It was a fun trip with a lot of great critters, you can see more critters by visiting the above link.

These are quite unusual animals. Not what we see on an ordinary day, for sure! Great post!

oh gosh those horns are beautiful, the camels definitely need a hair cut LOL

Adrienne Zwart said...

Wow, those camels are really shaggy! I wonder if that itches.

Wow, those are some awesome photos! I love it. Those were definitely some shaggy shedding camels. And the rhinos were incredible!!

Those bactrians look like a range of mountains.

All those large mammamals generate quite a large stench. That is why I am quite happy with your pics... nicely captured views, but no field patties.

Still think these were not taken in Ohio. Those bad hair day camels went extinct in the US after the last ice age. But they are good shots, wherever taken. ;-)
