Sky Watch Season # 4 Episode # 23

Sky Watch Friday this is the place. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link a 3:00 PM EDT on Thursdays. SWF is run by Klaus, Louise, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia and myself.

The Winter skies can be all gray at times with not much to show. A lone crow in the top of a tree calls to its friends. The haunting caw, caw, caw, with no answers.

Then there are some days when there is a mixture of blue, gray clouds and light at sunrise.

The sunsets are the same as the sun barely breaks through the clouds before setting. This could have been a beautiful show with less of the gray.

Visit some of the other great skies that are at the above link.

I like the bottom photo with the sunshine peeking through near the horizon. It has been grey here too although the sun does come out occasionally. In fact it's brilliant today. ;-)

Your sunsets are terrific! We haven't had any beautiful sunsets lately. There were either too many clouds or the sky was dull gray like today! Have a great weekend!

I especially love the skies in the 2nd photo - really beautiful! I like the whole feel of that one.

I really can't give these the attention they deserve, with that scene-stealing mallard up top! A double helping of fun and photography.

That crow is all puffed up in his cold and bleak loneliness. He cuts a magnificent figure at the top of that bare tree.

I think at times we're a lot like that crow! ha. The silhouette is great and I really like the middle one too. The skies over here are full of volcanic emissions at the moment. Still, that's a nice sun. Tomarrow we'll be heading over to the other side of the Island. Generally it's worse but we will soon see. Have a great weekend-
