Brooks & Dunn Concert At Blossom

This is the first concert of the Mega ticket package I purchased. Brooks and Dunn, the number 1 country duo for the last 12 years, was the headliner. Cowboy Town is the name of their latest album. There was a crowd of 15,000 people with a lot on the lawn.
The opening act was Heidi Newfield, who use to be the lead singer for Trick Pony. she left the group and went solo. She did a nice job on "Johnny and June" which didn't work on my player so here's a You Tube..

The next act was Rodney Atkins. He is a well like singer and has a hit right now with "Cleaning My Gun". I always like "Watching You" which I'm playing on the player.
Here is the crowd under the pavilion as it starts to get dark and the stage is set for the stars.
Brooks and Dunn are the stars of this tour. I saw them as openers for Kenny Chesney last year.
They are one great duo and the stage is lit up.
Kix Brooks does some of the lead vocals.
He is a showman on stage.
The background they use is stupendous.
Ronnie Dunn is the singer I like to hear and his lead songs are great. "Neon Moon" which i have playing is wonderful.
Ronnie really knows how to entertain the crowd.

I love Brooks & Dunne. Lucky you getting to see all those concerts! The prices sound about like those at the Atlanta Braves games.

I get a big kick out of these concert posts of yours - Not a country music fan at all, but I don't turn the volume down while I look - I promise! lol

Seems like great fun to me! And you're right - some pricing on events is out of this world!
Cheers, Klaus

Fishing Guy,

Do you have tickets to a lot of shows this summer? Who are you going to see next?

That looks like a great time! The beverage and Tshirt prices are pretty awful, though.

We were at a ball park Saturday, and the guys at the gate made people throw away their brand new water bottles so they would have to buy it there. Seems to me allowing one bottle of H2O in is reasonable.

I don't know a lot of country music, but your images tell me it's fun and earthy stuff.

Yeah FG, just try and figure out the price per gallon on that bottled water - Makes gasoline look cheap doesn't it? Looked like some good entertainment though.

Live events, especailly music are a favourite of mine to photograph. It's a fine balance between getting great shots and have more than the odd beer. These are a great series of images.
