This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Ivar, Sandy, Wren, Louise and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.
The Middlebury Avenue Bridge is open for business. It didn't open on time but it is a fine structure. I had shown it in March on this post. That post will lead you to the old bridge. It looks quite different now. The structure under the bridge is quite nice with two piers and rip-rap on the sides.

WOW, that is an awesome new bridge! Thanks for the update on it.
Take care
I especially like the top picture because I appreciate photos which are apparently empty but which lead the eye all over the place, as this one does.
The car, having come . . . and almost gone . . . it makes one think about befores and afters and stories and histories, as does the bend.
I wonder if fishing is allowed on the bridge. I'm glad it's open now.
Enjoy your new work week.
That's a beautiful bridge and great shots.
Your love for bridges always make me smile, Tom. I don't think I'll be able to see a bridge in Africa without thinking of you! Lovely world you showed us!
Hi Tom, how important are bridges! It connects people. This is a beautiful bridge. Thanks for sharing and thanks for visiting. Did you see the drawbridge of the castle? Thanks for your comment!

What a HUGE difference!!
Nice bridge. Bet folks are glad the construction is done. I love to see photos of rivers -- water ... something about it that is soothing. Thanks!
Nice to capture what is under the bridge. Did not know there's a river under there. Very interesting.
It is a wonderful bridge, great shots!
It's good to see that the new bridge is open. You've got some nice pictures of the river to go with the pictures of the bridge.
Great bridge. View from the bridge down the river beautiful.
I remember that other post, Tom, when they were repairing the bridge. It does look GREAT. I know your community is happy that it is finished and looks so good.

Hmmm...looks like Karl could quite easily kayak under the new bridge. Any fish in the river?
Well the new bridge looks stout and river and scenery are pretty. But, I really like the look of the old narrow bridge. Do understand about safety.
It has taken six years to complete a 3 mile section of a freeway, I guess its better late then never.
A cano up that river would be great!
It does look a lot different now Tom. I am sure everyone will be pleased it is finished at last.
So nice to have the bridge finished at last.
It must make traffic flow much better!
I remember your original post.
Looks like your getting fancy up there on your river.
Well I'm 2 years younger than you, We have the same interests and we both do skywatchfriday, and myworld. You have a bridge and a river in your post and so do I. I think we will both have a great day I'll be golfing in about an hour take care.. Joe Todd
By golly I think you could have climbed on that big deer and ridden him, Fishing Guy!
Crooked or not, Cuyahoga sounds almost poetic each time the name is spoken.
Hello it has been way too long since I have stopped over and seen your beautiful photos.
I love them all. I took the summer off and I am just getting back into a routine.
As for now I haven't signed back up for any photo memes. I am going to be taking an online photography class this October to learn all of the basics and fundamentals of working with my camera.
That runs for 8 weeks and I think will keep me pretty busy.
I can't pick a favorite out of any of your photos. They are all beautiful as always.
I hope you had a great summer and will have a great week!!
Jackie
What a transformation in bridge and vegetation!
It loooks like a modern, well built bridge. Very nice pictures, Tom.
Looks like a fine bridge!!
