Camera Critters #27

Camera Critters by Misty Dawn, go here to see who's participating.

I had two other post that I had started but I came up with this one to honor Misty's CC reaching one half a year. This is the Kent State University homecoming parade for 2008 These are all the critters in the parade. The first is Flash, a Golden Eagle, the KSU mascot.
Here is a Wini-the Poo / Uncle Sam lookalike.
The Child Development center had a friendly giant Dinosaur. The KSU radio station named after the Black Squirrel.
This is their fancy dancing Black Squirrel.
The Lions Club had a Lion running loose in the street.
The Black Squirrel with the white whiskers was waving to all.
This is the main reason I was their, Mrs. Fishing Guy and her Excel program. Granddaughter Princess brought some candy over to Papa which I gave to the friends I was with.
I will get back to real live animals next week, I promise. I do hope you had fun at the parade.

Yes I did, I did have fun at your parade, esp. since we have nothing like that in Jerusalem.
Excel sounds like a good thing.

Now fishing guy, I certainly wasn't expecting these kinds of critters :) Cute!

Took a run to the lake this evening, the 'gills were hitting on top. With the autumn colors and nice mess of filets it was a perfect evening. What made it even better was two adult bald eagles were there also.
Later,
Salty

"Louis" is wondering where the cow critters are in the parade...

(Editor to "Louis:" The whole world doesn't revolve around you and your bovine relatives...

"Louis" to Editor: Your head is going to revolve - as in spin - when I butt your backside with my horns...)

Thank you visiting my blog and I saw the difference between herons and egrets! I also find the specimen of the egret I have shot in my region(Campinas-SPaulo-BR). It's a camerodius albus.

Have a nice week!

Parades are fun--almost as much as real live animals. You're allowed a deviation periodically!
