A Steamy Morning After the First Frost

We had our first frost last week and then the Sun came out. You can still see the frost on the neighbors yard. The black cover on the BBQ started to send up some steam. The Sun was putting on a neat show on the deck.
The table was also effected by the frost and the Sun.
The Sun was quite bright and put on a show through the an Apple Tree.
I thought the Sun and the frost added up to a neat show on the deck.

I agree! The lighting is unusual. Looks like the grill was on fire.

Impressive steam of that BBq cover!

The best - so pretty and the worst - so melted looking, but part of that old circle of life - and that's so good.

Beautiful pics of the morning frost. We've had a few very light frosts-but no big one yet.

We've had frost several nights this week. It's wonderful to awaken to the colder air. Great pictures.

It's that time of year in the midwest when it's cold one minute and hot the next. We haven't had a frost yet...but I'm sure it will be soon! Love the steam rising from the BBQ cover.

Hi FG: It's colder, the leaves are piling up on the ground - our world has certainly changed these past few days.
We've had frost too - not sure I'm ready.

Nice post. Love those frosty mornings, such a different way to view your world for a few hours before the sun melts the icy crystals away! :)

We don't get many of those frosty mornings. I really like the shot of the steam coming off the cover of the pit. It looks like you'd been cooking. :-)

Nice series of pictures to depict the first frost. Unfortunately in Southern India, there's no way we can see these things
