Today's Flowers #9

My friend Luiz Santilli Jr. has started a Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. You can get in on the start. Sunday at 7GMT is the post time.

My wife decorated the porch for the Fall season and for Halloween. She used Mums as the central theme. There are four colors in the Mums.
This is the pink one with the dark pink center.
This is the golden one.
It also has a stronger color in the center.
This is the pink one.

It's center stays the same color.
This is the rd one.
It looks a lot lighter in the close up.
I think she made a great display for Today's flowers.

Your wife choose some wonderful colors.

(I didn't do red, white, blue first because it was dedicated to my friend so I posted the flowers in order of the colors I knew she would like best.)

Holy Mums! That front porch is a piece of art just in the whole but the flowers are fabulous. Great shots and I'm glad you got a capture of her efforts to keep in your book.

I'm way behind, so am going to address several posts here, but THIS ONE IS FABULOUS! Gorgeous pictures, and I think I would get along famously with your wife. I love her taste!

The turkeys--What a lot of them! My dad's place has turkeys almost daily, but I never can get that close to them. (I visit twice a year.) Maybe when my kids are older, I'll just go sit in the field and wait for them, but for now, they don't come that close. I like to watch them.

Happy Blog Anniversary! How nice of you to make a gift, but when I saw the name, I couldn't believe it because I had also seen that she had won on The Blind Pig & The Acorn. She's one lucky girl! And lucky you, too!

Love your SWF pictures. The giant cloud is something I always love, but I also like the one with the pretty blue sky and wispy clouds. Nice post.

AND, I really like the blue jay shots. We don't have blue jays here, and for all the ruckus they make, I miss them. I love visiting my dad because they come scavenge anything they can find off the back deck. They are pretty, pretty birds.

My favorite is the pink one in the middle. The light and shadows is what does it for me.

I finally went fishing yesterday. Caught nuttin! Mostly, I just cast the line in the water so those fish could eat the worms off my hook.
