My World #7

This is the sixth posting for the My World meme . It is hosted by Klaus, Ivar,Sandy, Wren, Louise and myself. Last week there were 111 people showing their worlds to us. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive. Here is part of 'My World'.

Today I'm taking you to the center at KSU known as The Hub. At the front of The Hub you see the flags of Kent State University, the state of Ohio and the American Flag.
The center piece as the KSU Library which I showed you earlier from afar, this is a close-up look.
The Student Center building which houses the book store, a cafeteria and the Kiva theater. There are many activities for the students in the building and a first class restaurant open to the public.

If you walk in front of the food court you can see one of the sports arenas.
This is the MAC Center, Home to the Kent State Men's Basketball Team which is the class of the MAC Conference. They have made it to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament which is quite impressive for as small a college it is. It is also home to the Women's team along with the gymnastics's teams.
I do hope you enjoyed your tour around part of the campus. Click above or on the side to go visit other parts of the world.

Really neat tour around Kent State! I particularly love the one photo with the shadowed areas, and the building through a "frame." Really nice! Did you attend Kent State yourself?

I like the campus and you make a good tour guide. You must be associated with the university to show so much affection for it.

Thanks for the tour of your world and I enjoyed the Hibiscus too. My parents had a few in our family home when I was a kid. Fond memories.

You could have used these shots in Sky Watch too! There's always something compelling about college campuses, no matter how large or small. It's almost as though the learning that takes place there adds something to the beauty of the location itself.

Or it could be that I'm just biased since my dad was in education my entire life.

I live very close to a college, as a matter of fact, most of the town is overrun by its buildings. Thanks for sharing this campus!

Nice shots. Love the flags against the blue sky. Thanks for stopping by "Nature & More". The camera is a much nicer weapon to hunt with. Everyone survives & we can shoot the wildlife again.
