Sky Watch Friday has on it's own site. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were 362 people last week with beautiful Sky photos. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.
I thought this week with our gray skies I would show two sunrises through the clouds. This one had an interesting look as the sun rose into the sky.
This one has a sky that looked like the sun would break through.
Here is a midday shot with a little blue in the sky. This soon turned to all gray.
These are the two sunsets through the cloudy skies. The setting sun showed as a dispersed yellow ball.
The sun got lower and the sky took over but it still looked nice as the sun tried to shine off the clouds.
I had to show one Summer shot on my fishing lake to get me out of this gray sky mood. this is the pump house at my water supply lake. I hope to see the sun again real soon.
The life blood of blogging is visitation so go out there and see some beautiful skies at the SWF site.

Great photo's and post!!
Thanks for sharing
Take care
I'm all for summer, so I'll join you in the last one.
The sunrises are beautiful. Where I would love to be is sitting by the water near the pump house in your last photo.
Such beautiful skywatch photos! Love them all! Happy skywatch :)
Love the first with the amazing crepuscular rays reaching for the sky! Amazing!
Gray sky or not,
when the sun does break through
she sure puts her finest colors on display! Beautiful series of pictures.
Love that first photo with the rays. Great capture. All the photos are great.

Nice cycles of shots. I don't blame you one bit for wanting to post the pump phouse shot. It's gray and dull here on the Erie north shore, too.
All nice! I love your warm summer skies, but I think my favorite is the 2nd to last sunset. Incredible colors and clouds! It's to pretty to put one in a grey mood!
Great sequence, Tom. It's rainy and dreary here today in TN. I needed to see that last picture--just to help me know that 'this too will pass.' (We've had LOTS of rain the past few days. We needed the rain--but not all at once.. Gads!)

Beautiful set of photos! How different is the winter sun compared to the summer sun, no?
Very nice. Even in winter there are many interesting things to photograph.
Perfect shots once again, I especially love the last one. What I would do to throw a line in that water.
Cheers!

A great series of different shots and moods of the sky.
Always a pleasure visiting your site fishing guy. Happy weekend.
What a beautiful glowing sun in those clouds!
All great captures Fishing Guy, love em all.
Looking for sunshine can be an interesting pursuit. I have to say, you have beautiful skies, FG.
I don't know if it will interests you but I'll have a night fishing post on Sunday. The text is kinda heavy but you might like the photograph.
Summer is nice but you did find some nice yellows amongst the grey winter skies!
I have enjoyed all of these pictures.
Thank you for sharing.
I note that the sky takes on a shot silk quality in two of them. Very nice.
Great collection of skies from different views. Isn't it lovely that we can take a moment to enjoy this beauty that nature lays out for us.
Thank you for your kind comments on my post earlier.
What a lovely selection of skies you posted! They are all beautiful in their own way but that last photo has me longing for more sunshine and warmer weather than we are getting here at the present time!

The summer sky shot is wonderful, but so are the others. Really beautiful.
They're all very beautiful! The first one is my favorite. Happy SWF :)
What a beautiful series showing a wide variety of sky scenes. We've had gray skies for the past two days, so I really appreciate your last photo. But all of them are great.

The sun glow is just beautiful. Sun, clouds and horizon all lovely.
Beautiful sky shots, FG.
Today I have had all those gray skys. Really rainy and dreary. It seemed to be passing as I drove home from work. You won't hear me complaining about the rain. We really need it.
I wonder if you are getting the beautifully colorful skies we have tonight?
A gray week's passing.
Lovely, thanks for sharing, I looked and thought..yeah tomorrow, I would sooner go fishing :)
Fantastic colors and skies! Thanks so much for sharing. I do have some unusual one this week myself, wasn't lucky enough to take them, but they're too good not to share.

A delightful series of skies, even over gray days. I like the second to last one best.
Hope you get sunshine soon. I'm due for some clouds and maybe even rain by the weekend.
What a great series of skywatch photos! Loved the one of the two sunsets seen thru the two trees! Beautiful. I hope you see your sun soon also...I hate too many days where the sun is shining everywhere else except where you live!!! ;-)
Very lovely sets of photo for SWF. Love the scenery and the colours of the sky. Have a nice weekend.
Nice sky watches FG! Great for the cloudy blues!
Today our only sun was right at twilight. It reminded me of some of your photos. And we got rain too. That's a change of pace for the dry season. Good news is that there is cold air behind it.
Gorgeous sky~watch captures~love the first one with the sun peeking throught the mountains!

I loved your sky photos and your music too. :-)

I love that first shot. So peaceful! THey are all beautiful.
The color is so unusual in photo 4 and 5, but I just saw the same color on another blog. Must be different out there, I am stuck inside.
Skies and Life change with each Moment. I wonder where they will take us next. Nice evolution of posts. Happy Holidays Fishing Guy.
My favorite would definitely be the very first one of the sun peering through the clouds. Nicely captured. I'm looking at the sky here.
I love that first sunrise - winter sun arrives offering promise, but delivering only light on a cold winter day.
Well, that's what it makes me feel.
Fishing Guy, what a wonderful varied sequence of images for Sky Watch. I really have enjoyed it very much!
That last one sure reminds me of warmer days! We got an inch of snow tonight here.
so beautiful colors!
They are ALL beautiful! I'd love to have some gray skies, rain, and cooler weather where I'm at! I'm sure you'll be back to blue skies soon enough. Happy Holidays!

Hard to choose but I do like the last one with the little house by the water .. the view from the windows must be so lovely
:-Daryl
I sometimes think we have to have gey skies in order to appreciate beautiful sunrises and sunsets more. :)
A wonderful series of skies! It#s also grey here in Vienna, and I am happy about your colourful sunsets and the summer picture on the lake :)
Thanks for sharing!
though it might be gray, the sunrise and sunset photos are calming to look at :)
Beautiful skies-even if most are grey!
Beautiful series. Nice to see some blue skies and some green trees.
BEAUTIFUL SWF shots LOVE the first one best!!!
These are all great....for some reason I like the trees and cloud shot the best. The sunsets are wonderful, too.
great skies!
Thanks for inviting me to join the 'My World' Tuesday Photos, I shall give it a go, but whether it will be in anyway connected to the group is doubtful, as I don't know how to do so, but I shall try. The idea is so good, I really want to join in.
Beautiful sky watch!
I too am getting a just a tad tired of gray skies.
Hoping the best for your wife. A good wife is a treasure and as you obviously well know, to have a good wife one must be a good husband.
All lovely, but that first one is absolutely glorious.
Great post! Wonderful sky pictures. Hope you are having a great week! Thanks for commenting on my posts!
