Today's Flowers #19

My friends Luiz, Denise and Pupo run the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 7 GMT is the post time.

Two notes to start:
1: My wife is doing well after her surgery on Friday. She will be healing for a while.
2: It's my 65Th birthday today which is definitely one of the big ones. I will be retiring this Spring, the economy is shutting our local plant but this will will not effect me during the transition. I will be gone before it finally closes.

Today's Flower will be the Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta). My library has these in their flower bed. They are a prolific flower with lots of blooms.
I think they put on a good show during the summer and fall. The common name comes from the dark center.
This one was captured with a few Morning Glories in the area. I think this made for an interesting double show.
I was able to get a single bloom for the effect.
The final photo is of one that had two guest to add to the beauty. The moth and the hopper made it of interest, I was at a wedding in Columbus when I saw this.
Be sure to visit some other beautiful flower through the world.
