Sky Watch Friday # 55

Sky Watch Friday with the new format. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.

I was at the Kent Bog from the post below and found a neat cloud formation over the Tamarack Trees.
I was at the Italian Fest in Cuyahoga Falls and caught this Sunset over The Natatorium a swimming and gym facility. I loved the soft golden glow the Sun gave to the sky. Truly a golden end to the evening.
You can see a lot of great skies by visiting the above link.

Beautiful sky pictures, Tom. Was there water coming over the Cuyahoga Falls this time???? Bet there wasn't nearly as much as you saw in the winter...

Everytime I come here I first have to look at that beautiful rose Tom. :)

No matter how many sunrises and sunsets I see, each one is unique and different. Love them all.

That sunset image is so wonderful.

Those are lovely pics. Didn't know you had tamaracks in Ohio--remember them from upstate NY and we've got larch (similar species) here.

Love that Chrissie Hynde/Pretenders song, "My City was Gone," with its mention of Cuyahoga Falls (which RushBaugh has tried to appropriate): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFfURSTLvfw&feature=related

Did you order that sky especially. It really is a peach. Kent in the UK is known as "the garden of England" so Kent bog made me laugh out loud.

You photo for skywatch are nice to see. We have had some great sky pictures but I seldom think to look up when I got a camera.

It is a cool, 63 degrees here at 6:00 AM in Ohio on this August 1st, 2009. Not bad. I slept under a blanket last night. We set the coldest July ever recorded last month. I hope you will have nice weather this August.

Great shots, as always, FG. I love the silhouettes and the golden sky.
