Sky Watch Friday - Season #4 - Episode #11

Sky Watch Friday this is the place. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link a 2:30 PM EDT. SWF is run by Klaus, Louise, Wren, Sandy and myself.

This is a look at a dreary morning sky, the promise of a full arch rainbow was there and rain came later in the day. This was the same day which I caught the big Walleye in the next post.
My boat camera has a hard time ding justice to the large rainbow but Lake Hodgson was a blessing to me that day. This lake is my pot of gold.
There are a lot of great skies to visit above.

Great Photo, love the rainbow shot.

Okay .. another rainbow .. I am so tired of all you show offs and your rainbows .. NYC is rainbow free due to the buildings that clog the sky and keep me from joining the club

Rainbows are beautiful no matter how faint - nice shots!

Looks like you could just troll on over and pick up the pot of gold right out of the water. ;D

With your personal pot of gold, you shouldn't worry about your boat camera. You got the rainbow -- now concentrate on enjoying that pot of gold.

On the Lake fishing and a rainbow. Doesn't get much better. Still getting tomatoes and green peppers from garden and even picked a few strawberries. I don't know why I'm getting them now

The picture in your header is absolutely fantastic!
Enjoy your weekend.

Wonderful! The rainbow helps make the gloom better. We've had nothing but rain most of the week and no rainbow. But obviously it was great weather for fishing!

I like the idea of the lake being the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. What a neat way to think of both water and 'bow.
