Today's Flowers # 56

My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 4 GMT is the post time.

Here are some more Dahlias that I started last week. This is a plant with a big yellow flower.
Check out this bloom, it is really big for a Dahlia.
This is that red and white one from a different angle.
You can see some great flowers above.

I didn't know those flowers were called Dahlia before today! First I was sure I had never seen the flower before - but now I know I have!
Beautiful all of them, but the red and white is exquisite!

Nice series..the dahlia seems to be popular today and in the gardens right about now...they are show stoppers in a garden I think! Like the peony in Spring! Have a good weekend!

Beautiful! The bright yellow is amazing! It's getting so cold in the mornings now and I noticed some of the flowers slowing dieing as the mountain trees start showing their Autumn colors...
