My local chipmunks like to climb and find a place to eat. My fox statue in the flower garden must be a neat place to go. I saw him last week but he didn't stay for a photo, this week he stayed put. This shot is from directly above him. I got another bonus fish today, a 28" 6# Walleye. I caught it on my 6'-6" Ultralight Ugly Stick. He put on a good fight. It is a Fish Ohio fish in Ohio.
I also caught 25 Crappie and one bluegill, here are the best ones. They ran from 9" to 11" long

How nice to have so much fun while stocking the freezer with fish. All I know about fishing is eating.
Haven't had fresh fish in ages! Now I'm hubgry!
What you have done! These are some catches. Beautiful shots, too. Good for you.
Mmmm... good eatin'.
Make sure you inventory your fingers after catching walleye. ...8, 9, 10. Whew!
And the fish fry is when? I'll bring the slaw

Craver: my most sincere apologies for spelling you name incorrectly in the previous post. Thats what happens when I stay up too late on a Tues and Wed night on Tom's blog defending myself. LOL!! Glad you did not come and paint a mustache on me though. :)
Tom: Thats a good size fish you caught there. It look like the chipmunk is having a nibble on the foxes ear or maybe whispering to him. :)
You could have used that picture as a "What is it?" ---I had no clue what it was until you said that it was a statue with a chipmunk on top... NOW---I see it!!!!
You are having some great fishing luck these days, aren't you????? I mentioned you in today's blog--and you didn't visit me!!!! Sniff Sniff...

Beautiful photos for the Wednesday potpourri, Tom.
I remember my uncle used to go fishing in a lake: he always caught many trout carps and tenches.
Great catch. You must have had a whale of a time getting that walleye in on the ultra-lite tackle.
Great post.
Cute little chipmunk.
You make me yearn to go fishing. I'll need to start planning a fishing trip. We haven't winterized the boat yet, so we need to get going!
Apologies accepted of course, dear Joan. We decided against the moustache, because we couldn't agree on whether to use eyeliner or marker. While we're in reconciliation mode, I'm sorry for switching the sugar with salt and vice versa. But I didn't do anything else; I promise.
Tom, if the next guy got out there at 9, how early were you there? I've never fished very early. Maybe that is why I don't ever catch much.
That chipmunk is so cute! Great looking bunch of fish..yumm!
Tom,
Now that's a nice mess of fish you got there!
I have never seen a chipmunk in person. Well there were these two on tv i used to watch when I was little. Could be one of them I guess.

The only chipmunks I get to see are on blogs, thanks. Isn't it wonderful to catch fish! You did a great job. Our families aren't into the catch and release too much....we love a good fish fry..shhh!
One of my favorite fish to eat .. the walleye..just always so full of little bones, but still an excellent fish to grill up and chow down. Your freezer must be brimming with fish by now...so glad you are enjoying those early morning fishing trips..sounds like a great way to start your days!
Cute little chippie pix!
Whoa!! Just realized what your header picture is...was it taking off or landing..and how near did it come to hitting you in your boat? Neat little rc float plane..alto it doesn't look like it managed to float?
What a fantastic series of lovely photos !! The last shot is great.
The walleye is BIG!! Glad you're having such good luck-and fun fishing this fall.
That's quite a catch FG, great pictures to remember this fun time.
Oh, I can smell them frying up right now. Nice catch as a bonus to the real fun...just fishing.
Wow, that's a nice looking mess of fish!
whats more cooler than a fishing guy on a fishing post? nothing... you are soooo cool FG. take care.
That Walleye is big!
