I enjoy BBQ. I was driving to explore in the morning to explore Breakneck Creek and Brady Lake (which I will post latter) when I parked at Boyle's Junkyard to get some picture of the creek. A couple where just starting to BBQ some Pork loins and Pork ribs. Camera at hand for creek picture, I started snapping a few. The smoke was pouring out of the smoker as they gave the loins and rib a good smoking.
Joe Nichols the owner of Blackjack Barbecue "Forget Gas - Get Smoke" was putting some dry rub on the Pork. The fumes were already smelling really good and it still had 2 hours to serving. Joe said they go to area fairs but sets up near Brady Lake every so often when nothing else is occurring. I stopped latter and bought a pulled Pork dinner, half a rack of ribs and a bottle of BBQ sauce.
The meat was a treat and my grandson also tried a rib and enjoyed the taste.
Here is one cool picture from the place I parked with more to follow of Breakneck Creek.

Makes we want to break out the smoker and do some babybacks. I'll have to post about my smoker one of these days soon.
Wow those look good. I wouldn't mind taking a quick break and having a bite. Nice photos. Thanks for sharing.
Whoa, my DH would have been all over this BBQ... he is a barbeque man. It's a topsy turvy house. I'm a vegetarian and he's a meat and potatoes man so it makes for an interesting summer!! Nice pictures!!
