This little bird was showing just how fluffy he could make himself. He is all puffed up.
Mr. Grackle made his aggressive move at his friends. He wanted their food all to himself.
Mr. Blue-jay after going for his favorite mud bath. "I didn't know the bottom was so soft when I took the bath."
Mr. Canada Goose was none to happy that I took his photo. Look at that crooked neck telling me to get away.
Now I see the problem, he has a runny nose. It's just a Spring cold, you will improve. Michele, I told you I'd get a good Canada Goose shot all drips aside.

Nice pics, I love all the jay people & their kin. Had a job candidate out for a drive in the 'hood today, watched an osprey catch a c. 16" trout--I think she got it on camera and hope she sends me a pic!
Always uplifting to see photos of our feathered friends. You've got some lovely shots here. Thank you so much for sharing them. I've just been watching one of our squirrels stretching himself out on a branch lazing in the sun, with a few of those grackles of course and a pretty male Cardinal. They just make you smile don't they?
Hello Fishing guy, that first bird sure does look cold ..lol.. warming here also, but we won't have "real spring" for another month.. then it should be safe to plant a garden..lol.. stay warm! Great bird shots.. as always~ Stacey
Really good shots FG! Like your humor today. :)

What a great variety of birds...nice! I hate those darn grackles, my labs like to chase them out of the yard, and the lil birds have taken a liking to this. They swoop in after the pups get mr.nasty out. Happy Spring!
Fun post, FG.
Love the puffy bird. Makes me want to get a brush or something.
Several fine birds! great blue-jay!
Nice work here. You have a good eye!
Ok, now these are TERRIFIC! I just adore that Goose and wowsa! you really did get a great closeup, didn't you??!? It's not easy to capture the eye as you did on a black head and well, there it is!!
I am impressed! I suppose the ball is in my court, eh and when I feel better from that last bout of seizures, I will see what I can do but after viewing these, I don't think I can really do much better... LOL =D
Hugs and kisses♥
Hello Tom. It has be be one of the most relaxing pastimes to watch these birds go about their daily routines, fights and all. Some of them seem to have their own personalities.
At one time I had this huge waterful which I built and all the birds which visited had their favorite spot. There was one Thrush which would not allow others on "his" spot and would chase all the others away. He would get in and flutter around then stand next to it to dry himself out. If another bird came close, he would hop in again as if to say "Hey, I ain't finished yet so scoot!". I used to have a lot of fun watching him.
Fishing Guy, these are fine pictures! I like the close ups too.
Yesterday I saw in a park some little blackbirds walking very quickly on the lawn and flying on the trees: one day I'll try to photograph them, it's interesting but difficult!
These are great... I do wish we had Blue Jays over here...
I also liked your Hawks.
Have a great weekend.. I will drop by in the week for sure.
Tom
Funny series, Fishing Guy!
I like them all but the puffball is special. Just something about that little bird puffing out like that tickles me.
Wonderful Bird shots. Love Mr. Fluffy and Mr. Muddy!
